Dungeness Crab Salad
The best dungeness crab salad that’s easy to make, tastes great and good for you.
Sir Hops-a-lot, my seafood eating pet bunny rabbit, will beat anyone in an arm wrestle for a plate of dungeness crab salad. That’s how good this salad is.
The dungeness crab has such delicate sweet meat it pairs well with any kind of leafy lettuce. The creamy lemon dill salad dressing compliments the crab without stealing the show and the carrots and grapes add the crunchy texture.
Ingredients:
For Salad:
- 1 whole cooked Dungeness crab shelled or substitute a can of crab meat
- 4 cups of mixed leaf lettuce
- 1 carrot sliced thin
- 1/2 cucumber sliced chunky
- a handful of red seedless grapes
For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup fresh dill chopped
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Method to the Rad-ness:
In a small mixing bowl whisk the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Stir in the dill and toss with the salad.
