*This is best for Alaskan crab legs but will work well with Dungeness crab legs as well.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1-3 cloves of garlic minced

 

Method to the Rad-ness:

In a sauce pan add the butter and garlic and heat over low-medium heat stirring constantly. The dip is ready when all the butter is melted. Can be refrigerated for 2 weeks.

Try steamed crab legs for a mild crab meat texture.

 

Lemon Grass Butter

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 Tbsp pureed lemon grass
  • 1/2 tsp tyme leaves
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

 

Method to the Rad-ness:

In a small sauce pan slowly melt the butter on low/medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to heat for two minutes.

 

Devilish Hot Butter

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp prepared mustard
  • 2 Tbsp hot chili sauce
  • splash of Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped

 

Method to the Rad-ness:

In a small sauce pan over low/medium heat, melt the butter. Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, hot sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and parsley. Stir well and serve.

 

Bourbon Lemon Butter

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup bourbon (or sherry)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped

 

Method to the Rad-ness:

In a small sauce pan over low/medium heat melt the butter. Stir in the lemon juice and bourbon slowly. Add the parsley. Let the flavors melt into the butter for a minute or two and serve.

 

Tarragon Butter

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 Tbsp of lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 Tbsp fresh Tarragon (or dried, but fresh is always better)

 

Method to the Rad-ness:

In a small sauce pan over low/medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic, lemon juice and tarragon. Stir well, let the flavors blend together for a minute or two and serve.
