Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 table spoon of fresh dill chopped fine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek style is best)
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans of Jumbo lumb blue crab meat
    , drained
  • 1/2 cup of smoked salmon, chopped
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Method to the Rad-ness:

Melt butter in small skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until the onion becomes translucent, around five minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

In a small mixing bowl, stir together the garlic, dill, cream cheese and yogurt. Gently fold in the crab meat and smoked salmon. Try to keep the smoked salmon and crab meat chunks intact. Once the onion has cooled add it to the mixture.  Season with garlic salt and black pepper. Pour mixture into a shallow serving bowl and sprinkle with cilantro.
